As a Software Engineer at TurboVets, you’ll play a vital role in building our mission-driven platform. You will work alongside talented engineers, designers, and product managers to create software that directly impacts veterans’ lives. This position is perfect for someone who’s excited to solve complex challenges, implement new features, and push boundaries to create a reliable and responsive product. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications that meet user needs
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and design solutions.
- Implement best practices for coding, testing, and maintaining our software.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications to improve performance and security.
- Write clear, maintainable code that can be reused and easily understood by other team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a collaborative and innovative mindset.
