RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop AI driven backend services and APIs that support production workflows
  
• Implement and integrate LLM based features, retrieval systems, and intelligent automation
  
• Build pipelines for data preparation, inference, and model serving
  
• Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers to deploy and optimize models
  
• Work with Product and domain experts to translate clinic workflows into AI powered features
  
• Monitor performance, reliability, and safety of AI systems in production
  
• Maintain clear documentation for AI components, data flows, and integration patterns
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 plus years of software engineering experience with exposure to applied AI
  
• Strong proficiency with Python or TypeScript and modern backend frameworks
  
• Experience integrating machine learning or LLM based systems into applications
  
• Familiarity with vector databases, embedding pipelines, or retrieval augmented generation
  
• Understanding of cloud environments, containerization, and deployment workflows
  
• Bonus experience with model serving, inference optimization, or distributed systems
  
• Bonus familiarity with prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, or safety tooling
