Turbovets, Inc., a Texas corporation (“TURBOVETS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, and do not share your personal information. This policy applies to the veteran platform hosted at https://www.TurboVets.com (the “Platform”). In this Privacy Statement, the terms “user” or “users” refer to anyone who visits or uses the Site or uses TURBOVETS’ Platform, including past, current, or potential users. This Statement covers how TURBOVETS handles personal information related to our Platform services (the “Services”).

TurboVets does not collect or retain personal information for commercial or monetization purposes. We collect and retain only the information necessary to operate the Platform, comply with legal obligations, and support authorized services. We only collect your name, address, phone number, email, and information such as your military rank, branch, years of service, and veteran status for the use of our Platform and use of VA integrations. We may use your contact information for customer support, notifications, and updates. We do not sell or monetize personal information. We collect and use personal information solely to provide and improve the Platform, communicate with users, and comply with applicable laws and obligations.
We may access, use, and disclose personal information as necessary to:
● Provide the Platform and related services
● Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes
● Fulfill obligations under agreements with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and other authorized government entities
● Support security monitoring, auditing, and incident response
All use and sharing of data is limited to authorized purposes and subject to applicable privacy and security protections.
TURBOVETS Platform is a free platform for use by Veterans. Whether you use our product or choose not to, we will not ask or request your financial details, such as your credit card number and billing address. We will also never sell or share any such information.
We may use your IP address and session ID to fix technical problems, customize your experience, and manage the Platform.
We rely on users and our partnership with ID.me, to keep your information accurate and secure. We use robust security measures and regularly monitor our systems.
You can contact us by email to access or correct your personal information. To protect your privacy, we may verify your identity before making changes.
We may use or disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or authorized government request, including requests from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
We may also use information as required to meet contractual obligations, support authorized integrations, and ensure compliance with applicable federal requirements.
We may email you about new features, benefits, or updates. You can unsubscribe from notification emails at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of those emails. However, we will still send important emails about your account, important account updates, or service or maintenance interruptions.
We may share personal information with authorized partners who are contractually required to protect it and use it only for permitted purposes, including providing and supporting the Platform.
We may also share information with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and other authorized government entities, like ID.me, as required to support approved integrations, comply with applicable agreements, or meet legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell or monetize personal information.
We collect limited operational and workflow data to improve the Platform and user experience.
When VA data is involved, such data is processed solely for purposes authorized under applicable VA agreements, including system operations, veteran service officers, security, and performance optimization, and not for unrelated or commercial purposes.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and the Platform is not designed for children under 13.
Our Platform may link to other websites, including, but not limited to, non-profit organizations and veteran support groups. Their privacy policies may be different, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information. We recommend reviewing their policies before sharing any personal information.
By using our Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy. Disputes will be governed in accordance with applicable federal law and, where applicable, Arizona state law, as described in our Terms of Service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, technology, or business practices.
TurboVets remains committed to not selling or monetizing personal data. Data handling practices may evolve as necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and government agreements, including those with the VA.
When you visit our Platform, we use cookies (small files stored on your computer) to improve your experience, including when you use ID.me or other login methods. Cookies may track how you use the Site, such as your browser type or most-clicked links.
You can set your browser to accept, reject, or alert you when cookies are used. (Check your browser’s Help section for how to change settings.)
We use cookies to help you sign in, save your preferences, estimate our audience size, and improve our services.
Authorized third parties, including infrastructure providers, identity verification services (such as ID.me), contractors, and integration partners, may access or process information only as necessary to provide, operate, secure, and support the Platform, and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and agreements, including those with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
All such parties are contractually required to maintain appropriate confidentiality, security, and data protection safeguards and may use information only for authorized purposes.
TurboVets may also work with service providers to collect limited, anonymized or aggregated usage data to improve Platform performance, functionality, and user experience. These providers are not permitted to access or use personal information for independent purposes.
TurboVets does not sell, rent, or monetize user or veteran data. Third parties are not permitted to use or share personal information for marketing, advertising, or any commercial purpose unrelated to providing the Platform.
Where applicable, user consent will be obtained for data uses that are not otherwise authorized by law, contract, or necessary to provide the Platform. All data access and use is strictly limited to authorized purposes and subject to applicable privacy and security protections.
In the event of a data breach or security incident affecting personal information, TurboVets will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
For incidents involving VA data or systems, TurboVets will comply with all applicable federal and VA incident reporting requirements, including notification to the VA within one (1) hour of discovery where required.
We will provide details about what happened, what information was involved, and what steps we are taking in response. We will also give you clear instructions on any actions you may need to take to protect yourself.
TurboVets will retain user data, including any non-Veterans Affairs shared data, for up to seven (7) years after an account becomes inactive or dormant. Users may request deletion of their data; however, deletion is subject to applicable legal, regulatory, and VA data retention requirements, including audit logging and security obligations. This dormant non-user data retention period allows us to meet legal, regulatory, and operational requirements. After this period, the data will be securely deleted or anonymized, unless we are required by law to keep it longer. Users may log in and delete their accounts or contact us at any time to request deletion of their personal information, subject to applicable laws and obligations.
Users may request the deletion of all personal data, including any non-Veterans Affairs data, at any time by contacting Turbovets or by logging into the Platform and deleting their account. Once we receive this request, the user will have 30 days to export their data. TurboVets retains personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, and support operational requirements.
Data retention is subject to applicable federal, VA, and regulatory requirements, including audit logging and security obligations, which may require retention beyond user-requested deletion timelines.
Where required, certain data may be retained for defined periods (e.g., audit logs, security records) in accordance with applicable laws and VA policies.

We will prioritize the privacy of our veteran users above all else, ensuring that their information is never sold or monetized, and is only shared as necessary to provide the Platform, comply with applicable law, and support authorized VA and partner integrations.
When TurboVets processes data in connection with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), such data is handled in accordance with applicable federal laws and regulations, including:
• Privacy Act of 1974
• Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), where applicable
• Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA)
• VA Directive 6500 and related policies
Use of VA data is strictly limited to authorized purposes defined in applicable agreements, including treatment, payment, healthcare operations, and other approved uses.
TurboVets implements administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect such data and supports required security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
TurboVets maintains audit logs and monitoring systems to ensure the Platform's security and integrity.
Where applicable, authorized government entities, including the VA, may access relevant logs, systems, and records for security, compliance, and auditing purposes in accordance with applicable agreements and law.
Audit logs are retained in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory, and VA requirements.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Privacy Policy, where TurboVets operates under a federal agreement (including a VA MOU/ISA, BAA, or contract), the terms of such agreement shall govern with respect to data handling, sharing, retention, security, and reporting obligations. This Privacy Policy shall be governed by applicable federal law. To the extent state law applies, it shall be applied consistently with federal law and VA requirements.
TurboVets may interconnect with VA systems and other authorized systems in accordance with approved agreements, including VA Interconnection Security Agreements (ISA). All such interconnections are subject to applicable federal security and data protection requirements.
