Downward displacement of abdominal organs causing noticeable symptoms due to weakened supporting tissues.
To support a 10% rating, evidence needs to show two things at once: that your visceroptosis is producing symptoms, and that those symptoms are marked in degree. Medical records documenting your diagnosis and your treating provider's notes describing the nature and frequency of your symptoms are central to this. Exam findings that show the extent of organ displacement and its effect on your body's function would also be relevant.
Because the standard requires symptoms to be marked, records that capture how often symptoms occur and how much they affect your daily activities carry weight. Your own statements, or statements from people who observe you regularly, describing how abdominal discomfort, digestive difficulty, or other related symptoms limit your work or routine can help fill gaps that clinical records alone may not capture. Imaging studies or specialist evaluations that document the degree of displacement may also help show that the condition meets the marked threshold.
Conditions that are often caused or made worse by this one. If you have any of these, they may be claimable as secondary service connection.
