Arizona Honorary High School Diploma Program for War Time Veterans

Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services (ADVS)
Honorary high school diploma awarded

If you left high school before graduating to serve in World War II, the Korean War or the Vietnam War, Arizona will award you an honorary high school diploma. A surviving spouse or other immediate family member can request the diploma for a veteran who has died.

How to apply

Complete the ADVS Honorary Diploma Application and send it with your documentation to benefits@azdvs.gov, or by mail to the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services, 3839 N 3rd Street, Suite 209, Phoenix, AZ 85012-1570. For help, call 602-255-3373.

What you'll need

Official documentation proving you enlisted before finishing high school, that you served during World War II, the Korean War or the Vietnam War, and that you received an honorable discharge.

Eligibility

  • You are an Arizona resident
  • You left high school to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces during World War II, the Korean War or the Vietnam War
  • You received an honorable discharge
