Arizona Vehicle License Tax Exemption for Nonresident Active Duty Service Members

Arizona Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Division (MVD)
Vehicle license tax portion of registration waived

If you are a nonresident service member stationed in Arizona, you do not pay the vehicle license tax portion of your annual Arizona vehicle registration. If you are then reassigned overseas from an Arizona duty station and your spouse or dependent stays in Arizona, the exemption keeps applying.
