Arkansas State Employee Leave for Military Duty

15 days paid military leave per year, or 30 working days when called up in an emergency

If you are an Arkansas state employee serving in the National Guard or Reserves, you get 15 days of paid military leave a year for training and official military duties, including travel time to and from your place of duty. If the Governor or the President calls you to active duty in an emergency, you get 30 working days of paid leave, and leave without pay after that. You lose no seniority, efficiency or performance ratings, promotional status, retirement privileges, or life and disability insurance benefits while on military leave.
