Arkansas Workforce Centers give veterans priority of service and one-on-one help finding work: transition assistance from military to civilian careers, skills and interest assessments, translating your military experience into civilian skills, exploring in-demand occupations, career planning, resume help, finding job training and apprenticeships, earning a Career Readiness Certificate, setting up an Arkansas Launch account, and connections to hiring employers. Disabled Veterans Outreach Program specialists provide intensive services including skill and needs assessments, an individual employment plan, counselling and career planning, and short-term pre-placement help. Local Veterans Employment Representatives work directly with employers to open up jobs for veterans.
Contact your nearest Arkansas Workforce Center and tell them you are a veteran so you receive priority of service.
