California Commercial Driver License Even Exchange Program

California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
Commercial driver license knowledge and skills tests waived

If you held one of a list of driving military occupational specialties in the past year, California waives both the knowledge test and the skills test for the commercial driver license class matching the military vehicles you were licensed on. Qualifying specialties are Army 88M, 92F and 14T; Air Force 2T1, 2F0 and 3E2; Marine Corps 3531; and Navy EO. The program does not cover the school bus endorsement.
