California Disabled Veteran License Plates

California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
No registration, issue or renewal fee for the first set of plates, plus disability parking privileges

Disabled veteran license plates carry no registration fee, issue fee or renewal fee for the first set. They let you park in spaces marked with the International Symbol of Access, next to blue curbs, without a time limit next to green curbs, at meters at no charge, and in areas that require a resident or merchant permit. Service stations also have to refuel your vehicle at self-service rates unless only one employee is on duty.
