California Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children

California Department of Education, through the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission
Enrollment, placement, eligibility and graduation protections for military children

California belongs to the interstate compact that smooths school transitions for military children. It speeds up enrollment when records have not arrived yet, keeps differences between states in attendance rules, scheduling, course sequencing, grading, course content and assessment from disadvantaging your child, protects eligibility for programs and extracurricular activities, and helps your child graduate on time.
