Covered payments include mortgages, credit cards, retail installment contracts, up to two vehicle loans, property taxes on your primary residence, utility bills and student loans. A deferral can run up to 180 days in any 365-day period, or for the length of your active duty plus 60 calendar days, whichever is shorter.
