Colorado Driver License Extensions for Service Members

Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles, Department of Revenue
Free three-year driver licence extension

If you are a Colorado resident on active duty and stationed outside Colorado, you can get a free three-year extension on your driver licence. A licence or ID card that has been expired for more than a year cannot be extended; in that case you have to visit a Colorado Driver License Office and retest.
