Leftover Colorado Hunting License Purchase for Deployed Service Members

Access to leftover hunting licences outside the normal draw

Deployed service members can buy leftover Colorado hunting licences after the primary and secondary draws and before the annual leftover purchase date. This covers nonresident active duty members stationed at a Colorado military installation and Colorado resident service members deployed outside the United States.

How to apply

Mail the U.S. Military Leftover License request form with payment and your documents to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Attn: Military Preference Point Request, 6060 Broadway, Denver CO 80216.

What you'll need

The leftover licence mail-in request form, your deployment orders, and payment.

Eligibility

  • You are a nonresident service member on active duty stationed at a military installation in Colorado, or a Colorado resident service member deployed outside the United States
  • You apply after the primary and secondary draws and before the annual leftover purchase date
