Colorado National Guard State Tuition Waiver Program

Colorado Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA)
100 percent of tuition at a Designated Institution of Higher Education

If you serve in the Colorado National Guard, this waiver covers 100 percent of tuition at a Designated Institution of Higher Education, and you can use it alongside federal tuition assistance. It does not cover mandatory fees, textbooks or other expenses. Credit limits are 65 hours at a two-year institution, 130 hours at a four-year institution, or 145 hours if you combine the two. With DMVA approval you can also complete one postgraduate degree on top of those limits: 60 hours for a master’s, 90 for a doctoral and 150 for a professional degree, plus one certificate of completion.
