Colorado Residency for Tuition Purposes for Nonresident Service Members, Veterans and their Families

Colorado public colleges and universities, through their registrar or admissions office
In-state tuition rate instead of nonresident tuition

Nonresident veterans, active duty service members, Colorado National Guard members and their families can qualify for in-state tuition rates at Colorado public colleges. Once an active duty service member qualifies as an in-state student, they keep that status. Dependent children and spouses can qualify through the service member, including up to 12 years after the service member was stationed in Colorado.
