Colorado will waive the skills test part of the commercial driver licence exam if your military driving experience matches the class of commercial vehicle you want to drive. You must have been licensed for at least two years on a similar military vehicle, and you still have to pass the required knowledge tests. The waiver is open to service members and to former service members within one year of discharge.
