If you left high school before graduating to serve in World War II, Korea or Vietnam, your local Connecticut board of education will award you a high school diploma.

Contact the local board of education for the school district you left, and ask about the diploma for wartime veterans.

What you'll need

Your DD214 showing service in one of the qualifying periods and an honorable discharge, and the name of the Connecticut school district you attended.

Eligibility

  • You left high school before graduating to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces
  • You served during World War II, Korea or Vietnam
  • You received an honorable discharge
