Free Connecticut State Park Lifetime Pass for Disabled Veterans

Free lifetime access to Connecticut State Parks and Forests

Resident veterans with a service-connected disability get a free lifetime pass to Connecticut State Parks and Forests. The pass is issued to you personally and only you can use it. It is not valid for camping or for special events with a separate admission charge, and it cannot be used commercially.

How to apply

Apply in person at one of the state park locations listed on the state park pass page, or by mail to DEEP Disabled Veteran Pass, State Parks Division, 79 Elm Street, Hartford, CT 06106-5127. For questions call 860-424-3200.

What you'll need

A copy of your Connecticut driver’s license or other legal proof of residency, and a VA card or VA Benefit Summary Letter showing a service-connected disability.

  • You are a veteran with a service-connected disability
