Connecticut Supervised Diversionary Program for Veterans

Connecticut Judicial Branch, Court Support Services Division
Charges dismissed on successful completion of treatment instead of prosecution

If you have a mental health condition that responds to treatment and you are charged with a minor crime or violation, this programme lets you avoid prosecution and jail by completing a court-supervised, community-based treatment programme instead. If the court grants your application you are released to the Court Support Services Division, which places you in a programme providing supervision, treatment and services. Finish it successfully and the court dismisses the charges against you.
