Delaware Resident Military One Time Hunting and Fishing License for Wartime Veterans

Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Fish and Wildlife
One-time license exemption valid for 12 months

If you served 90 days or more in Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom, you can hunt and fish in Delaware without a license for the first 12 months after your honorable discharge or removal from active status.

How to apply

Mail, email or fax the Division of Fish and Wildlife resident military one-time hunting and fishing application, plus a copy of your DD214, to Division of Fish and Wildlife, Attn: Recreational Licensing, 89 Kings Highway, Dover DE 19001, email DFWreclic@delaware.gov, fax 302-736-7925 (call 302-739-9918 first when faxing).

The completed one-time exemption application and a copy of your DD214.

Eligibility

  • You are a Delaware resident
  • You served 90 or more days in Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom
  • You are within 12 months of your honorable discharge or removal from active status
