If you are called to federal active duty and your military base pay is less than your state base salary, Delaware pays you the difference.

How to apply

Ask your agency’s human resources representative for salary continuation. You have to request it within 90 days of your release from active duty service.

What you'll need

Your active duty orders and your military Leave and Earnings Statements showing your military base pay.

Eligibility

  • You are a Delaware state employee
  • You were called to federal active duty
  • Your military base pay is less than your state base salary
  • You request salary continuation within 90 days of your release from active duty
