When you register an out-of-state vehicle in Delaware after being reassigned here, including a vehicle brought back from overseas, the titling document fee is waived for you and your dependents.
Register the vehicle at a Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles office and present your active duty orders. You have to do this within 90 days of relocating to Delaware, or within 90 days of buying the vehicle.
