Paid Leave for Washington, D.C. Government Employees for Military Duty

15 days of paid military leave per fiscal year, or 22 days for federal active duty, a contingency operation or support to civil authorities

If you work for the District government and serve in the National Guard or a reserve component, you get 15 days of paid military leave each fiscal year for active duty, active duty for training and inactive duty training. You get 22 days if you are called to federal active duty, to a contingency operation, or to help civil authorities. You lose no pay, time, performance rating or efficiency rating.
