Exemption from Arrest for Pennsylvania National Guard Service Members

Pennsylvania courts and law enforcement, under state law
Protection from arrest on a warrant other than for treason or a felony

You cannot be arrested on any warrant, except for treason or a felony, while you are going to, at, or returning from your place of duty as a Pennsylvania National Guard member.

There is nothing to apply for. Carry your military ID and duty orders, and show them if a warrant is served while you are travelling to or from duty.

Eligibility

  • You are a Pennsylvania National Guard service member
  • You are going to, at, or returning from your place of duty
  • The warrant is not for treason or a felony
