Commercial Driver’s License Military Skills Test Waiver and Even Exchange

Georgia Department of Driver Services
CDL knowledge and skills testing waived, or the road test waived

Georgia can waive commercial driver’s license testing based on your military driving experience. If you held one of the qualifying military specialties, the Even Exchange program waives both the knowledge and skills tests. If you drove military vehicles without one of those specialties, the skills waiver can drop the road test, but you still take the knowledge test.
