If you are a disabled veteran running a business, Georgia exempts you for 10 years from local occupational taxes, administrative fees and regulatory fees charged for peddling, running a business, or practicing a profession.

Take a completed Veterans Business Certificate of Exemption, a valid ID, your DD214 and your VA Summary of Benefits letter to your local County Probate Court.

You were discharged under honorable conditions
You have a 10 percent or greater service-connected disability rating from the VA
