If you are a combat veteran from the Georgia National Guard or a Georgia-resident Reserve unit, University System of Georgia institutions waive all mandatory fees. The waiver does not cover housing, optional food service, other elective or special fees, or user fees such as application fees.
Meet the admissions requirements and be accepted at a University System of Georgia institution, then ask the bursar or veterans services office to apply the waiver with proof of your qualifying combat service.
Documentation of combat-zone deployment on or after September 11, 2001, such as deployment orders, or documentation of qualifying injuries.
