Sales Tax Exemption on a Vehicle Bought with a VA Grant

Georgia Department of Revenue
No Georgia sales tax on the grant-purchased vehicle

If the VA gives you a grant to buy and adapt a vehicle for your disability, you do not pay Georgia sales tax on that vehicle. The exemption covers only the vehicle bought with the original grant.
