Hawaii Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children

Hawaii Department of Education, through the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission
Enrollment, placement, eligibility and graduation protections for military children

Hawaii belongs to the interstate compact that smooths school moves for military children. It speeds up enrollment when records have not caught up, stops differences between states in attendance rules, scheduling, course content, grading or assessment from setting your child back, protects eligibility for programs and extracurricular activities, and helps your child graduate on time.
