Hawaii knocks $46 off the state registration fee on one vehicle if you have a 100 percent service-connected disability rating.
Email your documents to ovs@hawaii.gov or fax them to 808-433-0385. The Hawaii Office of Veterans’ Services checks them and sends you a letter, which you then use when you register your vehicle at your county office.
A copy of your driver’s license, a copy of your current vehicle registration, a copy of your current VA disability letter, and your current mailing address if it is different from the one on your license.
