The State Tuition Assistance Program reimburses your tuition if you serve in the Hawaii National Guard: up to 100 percent of tuition at a public community college and 50 percent of tuition at a public university.

What you'll need

Proof of your Hawaii National Guard membership and satisfactory performance, your End of Term of Service date, and your school enrollment information for a degree-producing program.

Eligibility

You are a Hawaii resident serving in the Hawaii National Guard
You are performing satisfactorily in the Hawaii National Guard
You are an enlisted service member, a warrant officer, or a commissioned officer O-3 or below
If you are enlisted, your End of Term of Service date is after the last day of class
You are enrolled in a degree-producing program up to the bachelor’s level
