Hawaii American Job Centers give veterans and transitioning service members priority for job and training referrals, skills and experience assessment, job fairs and job search workshops, resume help, employer recruitments, and referrals to other resources. Some of the staff are veterans themselves and are trained to translate military experience into local job requirements.
