Purple Heart recipients can get an Idaho Purple Heart license plate with no initial fee and no renewal fee. It cannot be personalized. A surviving spouse of a deceased recipient can keep the plates.

Submit the Idaho Transportation Department Purple Heart Plates application with your award documentation to the Special Plates unit by mail or email.
