How to apply

File your claim through the Idaho Department of Labor online claimant portal. Claims are not taken over the phone. If you have no internet access or need help filing, visit your nearest Idaho Department of Labor office.

What you'll need

Your Social Security number, driver's license, Alien Registration number and card if you are not a U.S. citizen, the business name, full address, phone number, employment dates, total gross earnings and reason for leaving for every employer in the last two years, and your DD214 Member Copy 4 if you served in the past two years.

Eligibility

  • You are unemployed through no fault of your own
  • You are a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • You are available for, able to perform, and actively seeking full-time work
  • You meet the Idaho Department of Labor monetary eligibility requirements
