Illinois Education Requirement Waiver for State Police and Conservation Police Applicants

Illinois State Police and Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Conservation Police
Education requirements waived for hiring

Illinois waives the education requirements for joining the Illinois State Police if you were awarded a campaign medal for service in Afghanistan or Iraq and were honorably discharged. For the Illinois Conservation Police, the education requirements are waived if you were honorably discharged and awarded the Southwest Asia Service Medal, Kosovo Campaign Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal or Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, or if you serve in the Illinois National Guard or the Reserves and were awarded one of those medals during an active duty deployment. Every other hiring requirement still applies.
