Disabled veterans and former prisoners of war pay half price for the annual Hoosier Golden Passport, which gives unlimited admission to every state-owned park, recreation area, reservoir and forest in Indiana. It is not valid for historic sites, museums or memorials.
If you have an Indiana Disabled Veteran or POW licence plate, buy the passport at any Indiana DNR facility. If you do not, first send a BMV Certification of Eligibility for Veterans License Plates (State Form 32584) with your supporting documentation to IDVA at 777 North Meridian Street, Suite 300, Indianapolis IN 46204-1421 or take it in person, and IDVA will mail back a certification you can present at a DNR location. For questions call the DNR at 800-622-4931.
Your Indiana Disabled Veteran or POW licence plate registration, or an IDVA-certified Form 32584 with official documentation of your disability or prisoner of war status.
