Indiana accepts a motorcycle safety course taken in another state or run by the U.S. Armed Forces as qualification for a motorcycle endorsement on your Indiana driver licence.

Email your documents to motorcyclesafety@bmv.in.gov.

What you'll need

A copy of your motorcycle safety course completion document dated within the past year, a contact phone number, a secure government email address, a copy of your Indiana driver licence, and a copy of your military ID or orders.

You hold an Indiana driver licence
You completed a motorcycle safety course given by another state or by the U.S. Armed Forces within the past year
