Indiana State Approving Agency Apprenticeships and On the Job Training

Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA), State Approving Agency
VA education benefits paid while you train on the job

You can spend your VA education benefits learning a trade on the job instead of in a classroom. Indiana has over 860 occupations approved for apprenticeships, which normally run two to five years and include trades such as electrician, plumber, tool and die maker, machinist, mechanic and iron worker. On-the-job training programs run from six months to two years and include police officer, firefighter, deputy sheriff and corrections officer.
