You can get an annual award toward tuition at an eligible Iowa college or university while you serve in the Iowa National Guard. The award is capped at the Iowa Board of Regents resident tuition rate or your school’s tuition rate, whichever is lower, and covers up to 120 credit hours, or up to 130 for a qualifying science, technology, engineering or mathematics degree, or until you finish a bachelor’s degree. It can be combined with Federal Student Aid, Federal Tuition Assistance and GI Bill programs.
