Kansas Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children

Kansas State Department of Education, through the Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission
Enrollment, placement, eligibility and graduation protections for military children

Kansas belongs to the interstate compact that smooths school transitions for military children. It speeds up enrollment when records have not arrived, keeps differences between states in attendance rules, scheduling, course sequencing, grading and assessment from holding your child back, protects eligibility for programs and extracurricular activities, and helps your child graduate on time.
