You can use 15 credit hours a semester, with no summer or winter break courses, up to a lifetime limit of 180 undergraduate semester hours. From the fall of 2025 you can transfer unused hours, up to your 180-hour limit, to an eligible dependent. After your last semester of assistance you owe an extra 24 months in the Kansas National Guard or you have to repay what you received.
