How to apply

Buy your license, permit or stamp from KDWP or a license vendor and show that you were a Kansas resident when you entered the service.

What you'll need

Proof you were a Kansas resident when you entered the U.S. Armed Forces, your orders, and your military ID or dependent ID.

Eligibility

  • You were a Kansas resident when you entered the U.S. Armed Forces
  • You are serving on active duty and stationed outside Kansas, or you are an immediate family member living with that service member
  • You are buying a license, permit or stamp other than a lifetime license
