Kentucky Homestead Property Tax Exemption for Disabled Veterans

Local Kentucky Property Valuation Administrator (PVA) office
$49,100 of assessed value exempt for the 2025-2026 assessment years

You can have part of your home’s assessed value taken off before your Kentucky property tax is worked out. For the 2025-2026 assessment years the exemption is $49,100, and the amount is recalculated every two years to keep up with inflation. You only need to apply the first time you are eligible.
