Submit the Louisiana application for a military skills test waiver through the Office of Motor Vehicles commercial driver license process.

• You are applying for a Louisiana commercial driver license
• You are currently licensed, or were licensed within the last year, on a military vehicle similar to the commercial vehicle class you are applying for
• You have not held more than one license, other than a military license, in the two years before you apply
• You have not had a license suspended, revoked or cancelled, any conviction for a disqualifying major offence, more than one conviction for a disqualifying serious traffic violation, or any conviction for a military, state or local traffic control violation resulting from a traffic accident, in the two years before you apply
• You have no record of an accident in which you were at fault
