How to apply

Apply online through the Maine Department of Marine Resources LEEDS licensing system, creating an account if you are a new user, or request a paper application by calling 207-624-6550 option 2 or using the licensing division’s online request form.

What you'll need

A copy of your DD214 and your VA Benefit Summary Letter showing a service-connected disability rating of 50 percent or more.

Eligibility

You are a Maine resident
You received an honorable discharge
You have a service-connected disability rating of 50 percent or more from the VA
