Maine Military Service Discharge Records Requests

Maine Bureau of Veterans' Services
Copies of your discharge records

You can get a copy of your discharge paperwork three ways. The Maine Bureau of Veterans’ Services keeps DD214s and equivalents for veterans who were Maine residents when they entered the U.S. Armed Forces. If you entered from another state, the National Association of State Directors of Veterans Affairs website lists that state’s director. The National Archives and Records Administration may also hold your records.
