Contact the Maine National Guard Distributed Learning Center, and apply first for every other tuition benefit you are entitled to, including federal military tuition assistance, employer tuition reimbursement and federal grants such as the Pell Grant.

• You have completed basic training or received a commission
• You will serve in the Maine National Guard for at least one year after receiving the assistance
• You have applied for all other tuition benefits you are entitled to
• You maintain good academic standing and a 2.0 grade point average
• You do not already have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
• You have fewer than nine unexcused absences from unit training and have not failed to complete annual training without authorisation
