Maine Professional and Occupational Licensing Benefits for Service Members, Veterans and Spouses

Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
Licence portability, temporary licensure, credit for military training, and priority processing

The Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation makes it easier to get licensed. If you hold an equivalent out-of-state licence you may qualify for a Maine licence, or for a temporary licence while you finish the requirements. Veterans can get credit toward a licence for military training and experience. Veterans and surviving spouses have their applications processed ahead of others.
