Maryland’s American Job Centers give you employment, training and placement services as you leave the U.S. Armed Forces, and they serve veterans and spouses too. Local veterans employment representatives work with area employers to develop openings, and Disabled Veterans Outreach Program staff provide intensive help for veterans with employment and training needs. Veterans and eligible spouses get priority of service, meaning earlier access or first access when a resource is limited, for every program funded wholly or partly by the U.S. Department of Labor.
Contact your nearest Maryland American Job Center from the state directory and tell them you are a veteran or eligible spouse.
